You walk out of a movie with your friends, a movie you’ve watched the trailer for on repeat for a year. 

Your mind and heart are heavy. You felt such excitement going in, but now you raise your head up to look at your friends’ faces and see their brows furrowing like yours, trying to process these new feelings, and you’re usually not a negative person, but—

“It was bad, right?” you say. 

A wave of relief surges from the group, like everyone was afraid to say what you finally had the courage to. But you aren’t content to simply criticize without solutions. You can make it better.

FLOPS is a roleplaying game that uses a standard deck of playing cards and your imagination to reshape something that exists into something new and better. 

You’ll play as either a Director, a Star, a Screenwriter, or a Producer to turn a story around by playing cards wisely and using cinematic superpowers to take control of the movie. You're working together to make a great movie, but you can also win points and awards on the red carpet to be the MVP!

This is designed for single session , no-prep play with 2-5 players that lasts about 2-4 hours. Technically more can play, but it might get hairy. This game is technically GM-less, though one player will have some GM-ish functions. But prep is actively discouraged and everyone gets to play!
